Cartwright became married in 1975 to Steve Gullion. There are two children between the two. Angela Cartwright was born within England. She is the younger brother of actor Veronica Cartwright. Bonanza the first western in color was a story about the Cartwrights who were fictional families living near Virginia City Nevada, an actual mining boomtown, in the early 1800s. He appeared as Cartwright who was the youngest Cartwright child whose mom Marie was French Creole. She had been widowed when her son died of fever in the episode Marie My Love.
