Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest child of the singer Dionne Warswick and gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a musical household. In her early years she was a singer in the New Hope Baptist Church Choir in Newark. When she turned 15years old, Houston was singing professionally backing vocals with her mother in Chaka Khan's 1978 song Im Every Woman. In 1981, she briefly was a model and also appeared on the Seventeen album cover. Also, she provided backing vocals to Lou Rawls and Jermaine. In 1981, she began working as a singer with New York's funk band Material. It was her excellent vocals in this band that attracted interest of recording labels including Arista. In 1985, Whitney Houston's first album was the best-selling debut album ever. My Love was her debut album. My Love was released in 1985 and was a top one smash. The album sold US 3,000,000 copies and then increased to 25 million worldwide. The album gave her the first of the six Grammy Awards she has won. The Whitney album followed in 1987 and the singles What Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to further build upon the success of her debut album. But it was, the 1992 movie The Bodyguard that solidified her status as one the world's most popular artist. The film and her part in it was not well received, but the soundtrack and her rendition of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You charted for several months at the top of the charts. In all, she sold more than 44 million albums and singles worldwide. It was also in 1993 that she was married to Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition musician and father of her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown. In the same year her use of drugs was well-documented and she was able to use it regularly until 1996.
Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she's more popularly known as, is an American anchorwoman reporter who also serves as CNN's political correspondent. The anchorwoman produced a number of shows on weekends on the network, including Evans & Novak: Late Edition" and Inside Politics." She has previously worked for NBC as well as CBS. Her awards and accolades include her inclusion on the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. Her amazing anchoring and reporting abilities are highly praised by a variety of journalists. The George Washington University grad is an incredibly loving mother of her single child. She's had two marriages. She's currently unmarried. Bash is a fan of all her followers.
