  Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30, 1990, better known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is a popular American artist and rapper. The stage name he uses is the amalgamation of the name of his loved uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012, with Epic Records. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form album, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. The mixtape was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. The album that he released as his debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was led by the hit track "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott followed that year with a joint album titled Huncho Jack Huncho that was released under the name Huncho Jack. His third studio album Astroworld was released to acclaim from critics. The album was the source of his first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys that topped the Billboard 200. Following his hit single "Franchise" that featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was able to release the compilation album JackBoys. in 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs debut at number one in less than a year.
