 Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30, 1991 was an American rapper and singer. He is also known by his initials NF, which can be spelled with the letter IF. Two EPs were issued by Feuerstein, I'm free (2012) [3and an EP that was self-titled in the year 2014. He signed to Capitol CMG. Mansion was his first album he released on a major label. His second studio album, Therapy Session (April 22 and 23, 2016) reached the top spot at 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned several awards, among which include: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF was a hit with the mainstream in 2017 with Perception; the album reached the top spot in the United States and was certified platinum, while its third single, "Let You Down", reached number twelve on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the United States and was also a top-ten world-wide hit. The Search, his sequel to his hit album was also a commercial hit. Feuerstein declared that rap was for him as a way to escape his childhood. Feuerstein recorded his songs using the Karaoke Machine, recording his instrumentals on one mic while rapping on one. On the 29th of November 2010 Feuerstein independently released his debut album Moments under his real name. The album was dropped "Alone" as his first single on August 2, 2011. The track was written by the songwriter and producer Tommee Profitt and Brooke Griffith. In 2012, the work of Feuerstein was noticed by Xist Music. His first extended play, I'm Free came out on May 2nd, 2012 by Feuerstein with production assistance from Profitt. The tracklist included nine songs which included "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version "Alone" featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist announced that NF would be released in the near future, however Feuerstein quit the label over disagreements. NF production was postponed. Despite this, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, from the compilation album of the label, Move Vol 1. The single was released, "Beautiful Addiction", on November 4, 2013. Profitt was heard again on the track, and also vocals by Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
